Release Schedule¶
MimirRO launches at a fixed episode ceiling and grows from there. Rather than opening all of pre-renewal at once, we alternate month by month: a new episode every two months, and a custom-content drop in each month in between — so there's something new at the end of every month. It keeps the world progressing the way official RO did — there's always a "what's next" — and it lets us hold each drop to a proper QA and balance pass.
Pre-renewal content tops out at Episode 13.2. That is the pre-re ceiling; there is no 13.3, and El Dicastes / Kamidal Tunnel (Episode 14.2) are renewal and out of scope.

The calendar below is fixed. Each episode is a server-side unlock on its date — no client patch needed for episode content, since the client already ships every pre-renewal map and sprite.

Custom content lands in the in-between months
Every month that isn't an episode gets a custom-content drop — MimirRO's own content: custom dungeons and zones, gear and costume batches, instances and custom bosses. Watch the patch notes for each one.
What's open at launch (31 Aug 2026)¶
At launch everything up to and including Episode 11.1 is live:
- All classic content (Episodes 1–9)
- Episode 10 (Schwarzwald): Einbroch / Einbech + Airship, Lighthalzen + Bio Labs (and Kiel Dungeon), Abyss Lake + Thanatos Tower, Hugel + Odin Temple + Monster Race
- Episode 11.1: Rachel (Arunafeltz) + Rachel Sanctuary / Ice Dungeon
Anything above 11.1 — Veins, Thor, Cursed Abbey, Moscovia, Satan Morroc, Battlegrounds, WoE:SE, the Ash Vacuum, Splendide/Manuk and Nidhoggur's Nest — unlocks on its scheduled date above.
